The concept of Modern Cipangu Collections (MCC)

Modern Cipangu Collections (MCC) is a collection of records that explores and gathers the nature and culture of Japan.

From the era of Emperor Jimmu to the present, Japan's culture, which shows compassion and cherishes all things as they change, has formed unique religious values and continues to evolve even now.

Just as blooming cherry blossoms are beautiful, so too are the falling cherry blossoms.

However, when we see the cherry blossoms stretching their branches against the cold winter sky, doesn’t the scene evoke nostalgic memories of days gone by, while also stirring a desire to hold on to something—one of the beauties of the cherry blossoms?

I wish to collect the fragments of time that I want to preserve within the flow of Japanese history, and cherish them as part of the Modern Cipangu Collections.

I hope that, within this record, you will discover your own 'Golden Country' (Cipangu).

Even if this encounter represents only a fleeting change for you, I am proud to say that, for me, it represents a single grain of gold that will never waver.
